Emergency Medicine Continues to Prosper with Launch of New UAE Residency Programs

Cleveland Clinic Abu Dhabi (CCAD) has announced the initiation of Emergency Medicine Residency training at their institution this year. The addition of successfully recruited candidates in this new program, in addition to the approximately 100 EM residents currently enrolled in existing programs across the UAE, is sure to further augment the rapid growth of Emergency Medicine in the region.

ESEM welcomes the new program and wishes them all the best in their endeavour to bolster the presence and quality of Emergency Medicine training in the country. A reflection of the ongoing demand and opportunity within the field of Emergency Medicine, the existing network of Residency Programs under Rashid Hospital (Dubai), Zayed Military Hospital (Abu Dhabi), Sheikh Khalifa Medical City (Abu Dhabi), Shaikh Shakbout Medical City (Abu Dhabi), Tawam Hospital (Al Ain) and Ministry of Health and Prevention (MoHAP), now joined by Cleveland Clinic Abu Dhabi (CCAD), continues to foster high quality academic growth and learning for young physicians as they develop their skills and knowledge in Emergency Medicine.
