Lieutenant-General H.H. Sheikh Saif Bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Interior has launched the Bin Wareeqah Service which enhances the speed of front-line doctors’ response when they are called up for emergency cases. It is in line with the vision of the UAE’s wise leadership to become the best country in the world in various fields by providing government services that meet the customers’ needs & exceed their expectations.
H.H.Sheikh Saif launched the service in a virtual graduation ceremony of the first batch of doctors who completed a qualification course on the new service. As a tribute to the first sons of the nation who contributed to protecting our society, this service was named after one of the close companions of late Sheikh Zayed, Saeed bin Wareeqah Al Ameri who excelled in folk medicine.
The service, proposed by a doctor and adopted by the Ministry of Interior, is provided to a certain category of doctors who are called up by hospitals in emergency cases. Through the service, doctors are assisted in reaching hospitals (by their own cars) as quickly as possible while ensuring their safety and the safety of other motorists. It helps doctors to avoid any delays due to traffic congestion and highlights the Ministry of Interior’s keenness on enhancing the response of medical staff to perform vital duties while observing the highest safety standards during an emergency response on their way to their workplaces.
